Propagation of Ayurveda & Siddha at National Level

1. AROGYA-2007 AT DEHRADUN

Central Council for Research in Ayurveda & Siddha participated in Arogya 2007 which was jointly organized by Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India and FICCI, New Delhi from 20th to 23rdApril 2007 at Parade Ground, Dehradun. The aim of this exhibition was to create awareness amongst the common people about various aspects of the Indian System of Medicine & Homoeopathy and the role in health care.

 

The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Sudarshan Agarwal, His Excellency Governor of the Uttarakhand State after lighting the lamp. Mrs. Panabaka Lakshmi, Honorable Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare and Major General B. C. Khanduri, Honorable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand State also lighted the lamp to mark the auspicious inauguration of ‘AROGYA-2007’.

2. SWASTHYA EVAM PARIWAR KALYAN MELA AT LUCKNOW

“Swasthya Evam Pariwar Kalyan Mela” held at Neebu Park, Lucknow from 18th – 20th January 2007. The event was inaugurated by Sri Lalji Tandan, BJP M.L.A. & Leader of Opposition. Central Research Institute (Ayurveda), Lucknow was also participated in the event. CRIA arranged a free medical check-up for the visitors & also distributed free medicine.

3. HEALTH CARE EXPO AT MUMBAI

‘Health Care Expo’ held at World Trade Centre, Cuff Parade, Mumbai from 23rd to 26th March 2007. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Ranjeet Kumble, Honorable State Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Maharashtra. Central Research Institute (Ay.), Mumbai also participated in the event. They installed a stall for sale of Council ‘s Publication. Sale of Council’s publications were outstanding during the event.

4. FREE AYURVEDIC MEDICAL CAMP AT INDIRA GANDHI MUNICIPAL STADIUM, VIJAYAWADA,

Regional Research Institute (Ay.) Vijayawada has conducted a one day Free Ayurvedic Medical Camp and Exhibition on 18/03/2007 at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium – Walkers Association Hall. The camp was inaugurated by Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Commissioner, Sri Natarajan Guljar, I.A.S. a total number of 513 patients visited the Exhibition and benefited with free check-up and free medicines. Council activities were exhibited during this free Ayurvedic Medical Camp.

5. SWASRAYA BHARATH – 2007 AT KOCHI

Council participated in the Swasraya Bharath - 2007 held at Kochi from 9thto 15th October, 2007 organized by Swadeshi Science Movement, Kochi. Sale of Council publications and live medicinal plants were main attraction of the Council Pavilion. Council also setup a stall for free health check-up of visitors. A good number of patients visited the Exhibition and benefited with free check-up and free medicines.

6. INTERNATIONAL AROGYA-2007 AT NEW DELHI

‘INTERNATIONAL AROGYA-2007’ held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 26th to 29th October 2007. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss, Honorable Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India after lighting the lamp. Dr. Ramadoss, addressed the dignitaries of the event. Council also participated in the event.

 

Display of Ayurvedic drugs & live medicinal plants, display & sale of Council publications and live demonstration of Leach therapy & Panchkarma therapy were main attraction of Council Pavilion. Council also installed touch screen & circuit T.V. for ready access to various aspects. Dr. G.S. Lavekar, Director, CCRAS was also there to represent the Council.

7. SANJIVANI 2007 AT MUMBAI

SANJIVANI 2007 organized by Axion Events & Promotions, Mumbai from26th to 29th October, 2007 at Hall no. 2-A, Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (e). Council also participated in the event on behalf of Department of AYUSH. Sale of Council publications & display of raw drugs & medicinal plants were main attraction of the Council Pavilion. Council also arranged a free medical check-up for the visitors & also distributed free medicine.

8. AYUSH-2007 AT RAJSTHAN

Rajasthan Govt. organized AYUSH-2007(Health Mela) at Ajmer from 15th to 19th November , 2007, at Udaipur from 22nd to 26th November, 2007 & at Jaipur from 29th November to 03rd December, 2007. Council also participated in the event on behalf of Department of AYUSH by setting up one common stall of the Department of AYUSH.

 

Display of Council’s achievement through panels, display & Sale of Council’s Publication & free health check-up free consultancy clinic and distribution of medicine for the visitors were main attraction of the Councils stall.

9. IITF, 2007 AT NEW DELHI

ITPO, New Delhi organized IITF, 2007 14th to 27th November, 2007 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Council also participated in the event . Display of Council’s achievement through panels, display & Sale of Council’s Publication & free health check-up free consultancy clinic and distribution of medicine for the visitors were main attraction of the Councils stall.

10. AYURVED MAHOTSAV AT JHANSI

Directorate of Ayurveda & Unani Board, Jhansi organized Ayurved Mahotsavat Jhansi from 19th to 26th November, 2007. Council also participated in the event. Sale of Council publications and live demonstration of Leach therapy were main attraction of Councils Pavilion. Council also arranged a free medical check-up for the visitors & also distributed free medicine.

11. BHARATIYA VIGYAN SAMMELAN AND EXPO 2007 AT BHOPAL

Council for Science & Technology, Bhopal organized Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan and Expo 2007 at Bhopal from 21st to 26th November, 2007. Display of Council’s achievement through panels, display & Sale of Council’s Publication & free health check-up free consultancy clinic and distribution of medicine for the visitors were main attraction of the Councils stall.

12. HEALTH MELA AT RAE BARELI.

National Medicinal Plants Board organized a Health Mela at Bainswara Inter college, Lal Ganj, Rae Bareli, U.P. from 18th – 20th October, 2007. Council also participated in the event. Display of Council’s achievement through panels, display & Sale of Council’s Publication & free health check-up free consultancy clinic and distribution of medicine for the visitors were main attraction of the Councils stall.

13. CII CHANDIGARH FAIR 2007

Confederation of Indian Industry, Chandigarh Unit organized CII Chandigarh Fair 2007 from 2nd- 5th November 2007 at Chandigarh. Council also participated in the event on behalf of Department of AYUSH. Sale of Council publications & display of raw drugs & medicinal plants were main attraction of the Council Pavilion. Council also arranged a free medical check-up for the visitors & also distributed free medicine.

14. AROGYA-2008 AT INDORE

‘AROGYA-2008’ held at Lal bagh Palace, Indore from 4th to 7th January 2008. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Gauri Shankar, State Health minister after lighting the lamp. Council also participated in the event. Display of Ayurvedic drugs & live medicinal plants, display & sale of Council publications and live demonstration of Leach therapy & Panchkarma therapy were main attraction of Council Pavilion.

15. AROGYA-2008 AT AMRITSAR

‘AROGYA-2008’ held at Gol bagh, Amritsar from 15th to 18th March 2008. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Laxmi Kant Chawla, State Health minister after lighting the lamp. Council also participated in the event. Display of Ayurvedic drugs & live medicinal plants, display & sale of Council publications and live demonstration of Leach therapy & Panchkarma therapy , Siddha System, Amchi System & Prakriti Analysis were main attraction of the Council Pavilion.
